We are filled with gratitude for everyone who joined us at The Big Auction last Thursday night to support Big Brothers Big Sisters Auckland. It was a fantastic evening full of energy, laughter, and excitement, from lively quiz rounds to competitive bidding on our incredible auction items. Most importantly, the night gave us a chance to highlight the life-changing impact of our mentorship program, with heartfelt stories shared by our mentors Guy and Lucie.

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved, we made meaningful progress toward our ambitious goal of raising $24K for 2024. Every dollar raised is going directly toward matching the 100+ mentees currently on our waitlist with dedicated mentors. We can’t wait to introduce you to the new matches made possible by the kindness of our donors and sponsors. Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to making these valuable connections a reality.

A special shoutout to our incredible hosts at The Beer Spot, along with our auction sponsors: Parrot Dog, The White Lady Auckland, and Black Pineapple Co. Your support made this event truly unforgettable.

We would also like to thank our amazing auction item sponsors, including:
Andrew J. Steel, Sculptureum, Superthriller Jet Sprint, Muriwai Beach Horse Treks, Malkia Beauty, Swanndri, Pelagic Charters, Hibiscus Jetski Hire & Tours, AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand, Ethique, ITM Fishing, Te Pou Theatre, Mad Butcher Takanini, Eden Park, Tree Adventures, Glass Bottom Boat, Re-Dental Clinic, Moustache Milk & Cookie Bar, Eden Orthodontics, Amanda Thomas Photography, Fantail Entertainment, Xplosiv Supplements, Explore Auckland, Escapism Auckland, Farro Fresh, Vivo Hair & Beauty, Pulse Energy, and Joseph Parker.

Here’s to the strides we’ve made and the impact we will continue to create together!
