THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Enquiry – fill out the form below so we have your details
Pre-application – one of our friendly team will be in touch to complete a pre-application assessment and get to know you a little bit more.
Application – we’ll give you a full application pack, where you’ll need to provide three references and complete a police vetting form.
Interview – you’ll meet our Programme Manager for an in-person interview that takes about an hour, where we’ll talk all about you, your interests and what you’d like to do with a mentee. This will help us match you with the right mentee.
Training – you’ll attend a four-hour training course that covers everything about the mentoring process, tips, and tricks for any challenges you might encounter, and health and safety.
Matching – once a child has been identified that we think would be a good match for you, we’ll get in touch to arrange your first meeting.
Once you’re matched – you will have monthly catch-ups with your mentoring coordinator, as well as ongoing support any time you need it, as you develop your relationship with the young person you’re matched with.
